ranian Alliances Across Borders (IAAB) is excited to announce Camp Javan, the first leadership camp of its kind for rising sixth through eighth graders. Camp Javan will take place at Palisades Charter High school, Los Angeles, CA, from July 16th – July 20th, 2012.
Camp Javan has the dual mission of empowering campers with a deeper understanding of culture and identity as youth within the Iranian diaspora and equipping campers with the skills to be leaders in their communities.
As a non-political and non-religious camp, Camp Javan is open to all races and creeds. The Iranian diaspora community is diverse and vibrant, a characteristic that Camp Javan represents, embraces, and celebrates.
