OUR Mission
Based around the world, we are a small group of interested individuals who would like to educate the world about the Iranian community through art, culture, entertaining articles and personal stories. The purpose of our online magazine is to promote the beauty of Iranian culture by exposing the audience to rich traditions in Persian celebrations, literature, cinema, art, poetry, music, and cooking. In addition, we want to provide a common platform for the more than 3 million Iranian professionals outside of Iran.
This website is non-political, non-religious and encourages anyone who is interested in Persian culture to register and contribute to the site. You can contribute through your artwork, opinion, photographs and any other ideas you might have.

With writers in cities like New York and Tehran, PersianMirror is a virtual community that accepts and publishes contributions from artists around the world. We are looking for Editorial Contributors in the following fields:
Cuisine: Recipes, Restaurant Reviews
Music: Historical content, Concert and CD Reviews, Musician interviews
Dance: Historical content, dance reviews, and artist interviews
History: Documenting the history of Iran
Travel: Personal travel tales, hotel and site recommendations
Photography: Portraying Iran & Iranians through pictures
Nostalgia: Old Iran photos and memorabilia
To be considered an Editorial Contributor, you must commit to submitting 6 or more articles per year. If there is a topic you are interested in that is not listed here, please contact us. While we have writers in certain fields, we still encourage articles on Film, Sports, and other fields as listed in our category section. We are also looking for individuals who can volunteer to help with site maintenance, such as monitoring the Events page and Business Directory. We also need individuals who can be in charge of posting classic poetry and other editor-picked contents on a regular basis.
