> > ARSI: ON THE WAY HOME BY MILAD MOLAVI

Arsalan Nami was born on May 21th, 1984 in Shiraz, Iran.  Since childhood days, being a noisy loud kid and getting away with his innocent look, made him grow up becoming a boy, love performing in any style in front of people. He moved to Sweden at age of 4. He took-off by listening to his older brother playing the oriental keyboard and later on watching, dancing and dreaming to become a performer like his first idol 'Michael Jackson' that made him the favorite kid to perform on discos and parties. He kept using his energetic mind and body to develop himself and his voice and before getting into  'Soft Rock Area'  he started with 'Hip Hop Rap' That was the point where made his self-esteem grow and doing anything anywhere, on stage and in front of a huge audience, and that was what the place he called 'HOME '.

Let's introduce Arsi in his own language in a friendly interview with PM:

PM: Where and when was your first performance?

Arsi:   I was told that when I was around 9-10 months I started baby sing and it was at 'Golzare Kodak' kindergarden in Shiraz, where I was turned into a love performing in any style in front of people.

PM: Tell us a little about how you got started with music?

Arsi:  Getting into highschool, my teacher offered me to start playing guitar and taking my voice to another level. The 2 first songs I learned was 'Again' song by Lenny Kravitz and Hero by Enrique Iglesias. I performed both songs at High-Schools full-seated concert which took place at schools auditorium. My voice touched a lot of the students and teacher's hearts, and I was told to participate on 'Aiming at Stars', a talent show program televised on national television of Sweden singing live on TV. After 2 auditions where 2400 people participated I became on of the 45 to enter the show and singing 'Hero' life, where I ended up in 2nd place.

PM: How and when the doors got opened for you?

Arsi:  TV appearance opened a lot of doors and gave me a lot of gig at festivals and shows around the country. Where I later on even started a music band to perform all over in Sweden

PM: What is your motivation to music? At what condition will you give up?

Arsi:  I think I’ve been given a talent from god and I will use it well and no matter what happens in life, I won't give up the music because if I do then I stop breathing.
