Magic of Persia Puts on Another Event

The British Museum, in conjunction with Magic of Persia is putting on another great cultural day that spans four days and showcases wonderful programming for parents and children alike. Starting April 16th, museum visitors will be able to see performances by San Franciso's Ballet Afsaneh as well as hear music from the Enchanting Drums, a British-Iranian ensemble that plays the classic Persian instrument the Daf. There are also lots of films which will be screened, inclu
ding the Mixed Nutz show "A Persian Adventure", an animated film about three children traveling to Iran through magic paintings. Mixed Nutz is a new series created by Norooz Productions and this episode is screening privately this time for the only time in public.
Admission for this Persia family weekend is free and the Magic of Persia staff will be on hand to help and assist in any way. For a more detailed program, you can also visit www.britishmuseum.org.
