Iranian Youth Pushes Limits on Clothing

The recent arrests in Tehran have led the youth to be more rebelious through their street fashion. Young men grow their hair log and use gels and hairsprays to fashion new hairdos that stand out. Designer t-shirts, tight pants, earrings or extra fashion jewelry makes a huge statement when walking the streets of Tehran.

Girls continue to push the limits too by wearing lots of mak-up and low scarves. We received some fashion photographs from Tehran Photographer Niki Koohpaima.
