I got some fantastic pictures from the 2007 Cannes Film Festival presenting famous Iranian actress Niki Karimi.
She is a member of the jury this year. One thing interesting further to technical success and immaculate beauty of this Iranian star is that, in this position and at this place in front of the cameras she is very much anxious of the cover put on her hair.
This year nothing from Iran is presented in the Cannes Film Festival, other than “Persepolis

”, an animation movie co-written and co-directed by Marjane Satrapi and Vincent Parronaud, another comic book author in France. The movie has some elements of the Iranian government with its people.
While Niki Karimi looked like she was a bit self-conscious of her outfits, she quickly grew into her own with outfits that will play well for everyone, the photographers as well as anyone else. Niki Karimi hopes to have other films represented internationally in the future.
