As daylight breaks
And the world is a new
I realize that I am the feather of the blue bird's wing
As the clouds part
Allowing the sun's light to shine
I realize that I am the petal on the rose in the garden
As the wind blows
Spinning the leaves
around and around
I realize that I am the tree from which they have left
As I look around me
I realize that..
I have flown on the wings of the blue bird
Felt the beauty of a rose
Allowed the strength of the roots of a tree to keep me grounded
I have experienced God.
