Athena At The Top!

Perhaps one of the biggest perks of being the editor of PersianMiror is being able to occasionally stand up and be proud of my family and friends.
This month, my cousin Athena Uslander has once again broken all rules and is being featured in Dove's Pro-Age campaign. The campaign features every day women of different backgrounds and shapes, in hopes of making us feel good about our aging bodies. The campaign includes print and commercial ads around the world for these products and Athena is featured for the skincare line. She is of course among the most accomplished Iranian women, not to mention most beautiful women, I know.
Athena is an amazing entrepreneur in Chicago, selling the best desserts in the world at Athena's Silverland desserts. In fact, Fine Living named her brownies to be among the TOP TEN desserts to be mail ordered in the country! (so order away)
Athena is like a big sister to me and I am so very proud of her. She appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show this week, and on the Today Show, with the rest of the Dove ladies. More promotional tours will include visits to Canadian TV networks. The campaign is worldwide, so don't be surprised if you see her at Trafalgar Square or a supermarket aisle near you.
